President Muhammadu Buhari will leave Nigeria for London, the United Kingdom today for “routine medical check-up”, his media aide Femi Adesina, in a statement on Monday.
According to him, his principal will return to the country in the second week of November, 2022.
He added that Buhari will leave for London after attending the Conference and Retreat for Senior Police Officers in Owerri, the Imo State capital.
This is not the first time the President will travel to London for medical check-up in 2022. Buhari was in the United Kingdom in March and in July for medical purpose.
This comes barely hours after the president came back from South Korea, amid floods across Nigeria and terror anxiety in the capital Abuja.
