The Department of State Services (DSS) has arrested suspended Abdulrasheed Bawa, the suspended Chairman of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
This was confirmed in a statement on Wednesday night by Peter Afunanya, DSS spokesperson.
Mr Afunanya said Mr Bawa arrived a few hours ago at the DSS Headquarters, Abuja.
This comes on the heels of the suspension of the EFCC boss by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Tinubu had ordered investigation into Bawa’s activities while at the helm in EFCC.
Recall that the Central Bank governor, Godwin Emefiele, who was also recently suspended by the President, was also arrested by the secret police.
Emefiele is still in DSS custoday as at the time of filing this report.
