Lawyers attending the annual conference of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) were flaggerbasted when the National Treasurer, Caroline Anze-Bishop, took to the stage to publicly disown the association’s financial statements purportedly drafted in her, without her seeing or scrutinizing them.
In a video seen by CHECKPOINTCHARLEY, the treasurer accused President Yakubu Chonoko Maikyau of highhandness and sidelining her in the financial affairs of the association.
