The Lagos State Police Command has exhumed the corpse of the late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, for autopsy.
The exhumation on Thursday following allegations by his parents that the singer did not die a natural death.
The police also arrested the nurse who reportedly injected the deceased Mohbad prior to his death on Tuesday, September 12.
The Lagos State Police Command Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the developments to the press on Thursday.
“Mohbad’s corpse has been exhumed today, and an autopsy will begin as soon as possible,” Hundeyin said.
The Inspector-General of Police, Olukayode Egbetokun, had ordered the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Idowu Owohynwa swiftly and comprehensively investigate tragic death of the younger singer.
