The Nigeria Senate on Tuesday confirmed Olayemi Cardoso as the substantive Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria.
Recall that President Tinubu ad recently appointed im as the acting CBN governor and sent a letter to the senate seeking his confirmation in a subtantive role.
The Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, made this known at its plenary on Tuesday.
The red chamber also confirmed the nomination of four deputy governor nominees for the apex bank.
The deputy governors confirmed are Emem Nnana Usoro, Muhammad Sani Abdullahi Dattijo, Philip Ikeazor, and Bala Bello.
