The Supreme Court of Nigeria has fixed Thursday for ruling on the appeals by the presidential candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, and the Labour Party, Peter Obi.
The Supreme Court’s Director of Information, Dr. Festus Akande, disclosed this to the press on Wednesday, saying the judgement on the appeals had been scheduled for tomorrow.
He said adequate security arrangements have been put in place to prevent security breaches both within and outside the court premises.
A seven-man panel of Justices of the Court led by Justice John Inyang Okoro had on Monday taken final arguments from lawyers to parties in the petitions.
