Napoli and Nigerian lethal striker Victor Osimhen has been crowned the 2023 African Footballer of the Year in a momentous event in Marrakech, Morocco on Monday.
He beat Senegal’s Sadio Mane, and Egypt’s Mohamed Salah, among others to clinch the award after a hugely successful year, in which he helped Napoli win the Italian League title in 33 years.
