Three More Commissioners Resign From Fubara Cabinet

Three more commissioners on Friday resigned from the Rivers State Executive Council.

They are Commissioner for Transportation Dr. Jacobson Nbina,  Commissioner for Housing, Dr. Gift Worlu and Commissioner for Environment, Austen Ben-Chioma.

Their resignations were contained in separate letters cited by our correspondent and addressed to the governor through the Secretary to the State Government.

The three were said to have been appointed by former governor Nyesom Wike and both Nbina and Ben-Chioma were also commissioners during Wike’s administration.

Rivers is currently enmeshed in a political since the failed attempt by State Assembly members, loyal to Wike, to impeach Governor Fubara.

So far, nine commissioners  have resigned or loke a source said, forced to quit.
