Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has nominated the former Deputy Clerk to the National Assembly, Chief Olayide Owolabi Adelami, as his deputy governor.
The Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Ebenezer Adeniyan, confirmed the nomination of the deputy governor on Wednesday.
This comes few hours after the dissolution of the Ondo State Executive Council.
Adelami, whose name has been forwarded his name to the state House of Assembly for confirmation. was a former governorship aspirant of the All Progressive Congress in 2020.
Adelami, from the Owo area of the state, retired from the National Assembly in April 2018.
