
President Bola Tinubu has returned to Abuja after attending the 37th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of the African Union Heads of State and Government.
The NAF 001 plane, carrying the president, pulled up at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport at about 04:00 pm.
It was Tinubu’s 15th foreign trip since assuming the Presidency nine months ago, spending 73 days abroad.
He was received by top government officials including his Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila; Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume; National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu and the Minister of State for Defense, Bello Matawalle.
Imo Governor, Hope Uzodinma, the Director-General of the Department of State Service, Yusuf Bichi, and other government officials were also among those who recieved the president.
