A large number of hoodlums have invaded the office of the Anambra State Vigilante in Amichi, Nnewi South Local Government Area of the state, setting ablaze a yet-to-be-identified middle-aged man, who was in a vehicle belonging to the AVG operatives.
The incident happened around 7am on Thursday when the hoodlums stormed the premises of the State Vigilante.
As at the time of filing this report, the reason for the attack could not be fully ascertained.
Meanwhile, a video currently circulating on social media, showing the burning vehicle and a voice calling for the state fire service.
The state police spokesman, DSP Tochukwu Ikenga, confirmed that the attack.
