
Lamine Yamal was on song, becoming the youngest goalscorer in the men’s European Championship at 16 years and 362 days, as Spain came from a goal down to silence France and seal a final ticket for the Euro 2024.
They defeated France 2-1 on Tuesday and reached the Euro 2024 final, their first at a major tournament for 12 years, where they will face the Netherlands or England.
Randal Kolo Muani headed France into an early lead, but Lamine Yamal curled in a brilliant equaliser to become the youngest goalscorer in the competition’s history and Dani Olmo’s 25th-minute strike proved to be the winner.
