
Controversial crossdresser, Okuneye Idris, popularly known as Bobrisky, is still behind bars close to 48 hours after he was arrested while trying to leave the country via the Seme border by officials of the Nigerian immigration.
He was handed over to the police and was transfered to the Force Criminal Investigation Department Annex, Alagbon, Lagos State, where he spent the night in a cell.
It was gathered that further orders were being awaited regarding Okuneye’s case.

The spokesperson for the FCID, Lagos, Mayegun Aminat, confirmed Bobrisky’s detention to the Press on Tuesday, saying “He is detained at FCID Alagbon. He is with us and we are to get a remand to keep him in custody today.”
Recall that following his arrest on Sunday, the spokesperson for the NIS, Kenneth Udo, said in a statement on Monday evening that Bobrisky is a person of interest over recent issues of public concern.
Udo said, “In keeping with its commitment to securing the borders, Nigeria Immigration Service intercepted Okuneye Idris Olanrewaju, otherwise known as Bobrisky at the Seme Border over an attempt to exit the country.”
