The Nigerian Senate has confirmed seven new ministerial nominees recently appointed by President Bola Tinubu.
The confirmations followed a hearing held on the Senate floor on Wednesday.
Mr. Tinubu had last reshuffled his cabinet, sacking six ministers and appointed seven new ones.
He later forwarded their names to the senate for confirmation, as required by law.
Prominent among the confirmed nominees is Chief Mrs Bianca Ojukwu, wife of former Biafran leader, late Chief Emeka Ojukwu.
