Air Peace Abuja-Lagos Flight Makes Emergency Return

Air Peace announced Thursday that its Abuja-Lagos flight made an emergency return due to a bird strike.

Dr. Ejike Ndiulo, Head of Corporate Communications at Air Peace, disclosed this in a statement, saying another aircraft had been deployed to minimize disruption.

The statement read, “We wish to inform our esteemed passengers that our Abuja-Lagos 06:30 flight experienced a bird strike before take-off, prompting a return to the ramp as a safety measure. All passengers disembarked normally.

“We have deployed a replacement aircraft for the affected flight to ensure passengers continue their journeys promptly. We appeal for the understanding of our valued passengers impacted by this development, as well as those on other flights that may experience delays.”
