The Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Emomotimi Guwor was as one of the survivors of a tragic boat accident in the Warri South Local Government Area on Tuesday, which claimed five lives.
Guwor’s Chief Press Secretary, Nkem Nwaeke, confirmed this in a statement released on Wednesday, saying the speaker remains deeply shaken by the tragedy.
At least, five persons were confirmed dead following the mishap while several others were injured.
