Nigeria’s House of Representatives has okayed President Tinubu’s controversial state of emergency rule in Rivers state.
The reps adopted the proclamation through voice vote during plenary on Thursday, with only 243 members in attendance.
This falls short of the 270 constitutionally required for such approval.
