Chioma Adeleke, the dashing wife of Afrobeats musician Davido, has described her superstar husband as her calm in the storm, pledging to stand by him through good and bad times.
She said this as both tied the knot on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at a lavish white wedding ceremony in Miami, United States.
Chioma also called Davido her love, best friend and vowed to walk with him for life.
“You’re my love, you’re my best friend, you’re my calm in my storm. Nobody knows or loves us like we do. I want you to know that today I am holding your hands, and I am going to walk with you forever,” she said.
David on his part expressed deep affection for his bride, describing her as his “love, peace, and home.”
He said, “Chioma, I have been on many stages, but this is the nervous I have ever been. You are my love, my peace, my home. You came into my life quietly and became the most loudest and beautiful part of it. You saw the real me, the me the world doesn’t see and you still choose me.”
The Miami wedding followed the couple’s traditional wedding in Lagos in June 2024 and a court wedding in March 2023.
