
An elderly woman was hit by stay bullet as terrorists again raided a community in Kwara State, abducting 11 residents, including a pregnant woman, two nursing mothers and several children, in Isapa, Ekiti Local Government Area.
National Pilot reported that the attack occurred around 6pm on November 24, 2025, when an estimated 20 to 30 armed bandits stormed the community, advancing with a large herd of cattle and firing sporadically.
Some of the abducted residents have been identified as, Talatu Kabiru, Magaji, Kande, Hadiza, Mariam, Saima, Habibat (a housewife), Fatima Yusufu (a housewife), Sarah Sunday (pregnant woman), Lami Fidelis (a nursing mother), and Haja Na Allah.
This comes hours after The Nigerian Govt secured the release of 38 Eruku worshippers who were recently also abducted by terrorists during church service.
It was gathered that Eruku is close to Ekiti.
Eyewitnesses said the attackers moved through different sections of the town, leaving bullet holes in walls and doors.
Spent AK-47 shells were recovered at several points after the terrorists left with their captives.
According to a community leader, seven of the victims were taken from a single household.
“This is the worst attack we have seen in recent times, Seven members of the same family were taken. People are terrified. We don’t even know what to expect next.
“People are now living in fear. This is too much. Eleven people just disappeared into the bush. We don’t know what tomorrow holds,” he said.
