Peter Obi, the 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Sunday ended speculation about his political future, confirming during a live-chat – on X Space with his supporters that his party for the 2027 elections is the African Democratic Congress, ADC, coalition.
The former Anambra governor however stressed that he is not joining ADC or defecting, as claimed by some people, but rather has been in ADC coalition from inception.
Obi also said that the won the 2023 election, but regretted that “the masters of wrong” stole his mandate.
“But in 2027, we will work with the coalition to make sure that does not happen again.”
I’ll definitely be on the presidential ballot in 2027, Obi added.
“I have not being travelling around the world and meeting presidents to learn how to be vice-president.”
