Nigeria has recorded ten new deaths and 328 fresh cases of COVID-19 in 13 states and the federal capital territory (FCT), the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced in a tweet on Friday night.
This now takes the country’s toll to 11,844 in in 35 states and the FCT.
There has been a continuous surge of infections in the last weeks as the toll now inches to 12,000 cases.
The good news however is that recoveries have also increased within the period from 481 to 3,696 patients while the number of fatalities rose from 98 to 333.
