Victor Osinhem continued from where he stopped before injury layoff to put Galatasaray 1-0 up just before halftime, which paved the way for a 3-0 crucial demolition of arch rivals Fenerbache to inch closer to a record stretching 26 Turkish Super League title.
The victory saw Galatasaray go seven points clear at the top, ahead of Fenerbache in second position with only three matches left.
Baris Yilmaz scored from the penalty spot twenty-two minutes after the interval. But before the penalty was taken, Fenerbache was reduced to ten men after their keeper Ederson was sent off for two yellow cards in quick succession for delaying the taking of the kick.
Lucas Torreira made it 3-0 worse in the 84th minute after the newly introduced Fenerbache keeper Mert Günok fumbled with a harmless ball.
