Two days of attacks by suspected Fulani herdsmen on several villages in Kwande local government area of Benue state have left at least 10 people dead.
This comes about three weeks after the attack on Buruku communities where 20 persons were killed and search is still ongoing for the missing.
The recent killing was said to have started on Sunday morning and lasted till the early hours of Monday in Kwande communities.
Communities attacked include Ikyoawen in Moon district and Alaba village of Nzaav council ward, all in Turan area of Kwande Local government, sources told the Punch
It is gathered that the herdsmen first attacked Ikyoawen in Moor district early Sunday morning and killed four persons before moving to Nzaav district Monday, where four persons were also killed.
